ASTM A283/A283M steel standard contains steel grades A283 Grade A, A283 Grade B, A283 Grade C and A283 Grade D.
The minimum yield strength of carbon steel plate A283GrA is above 165Mpa and tensile strength is within 310-415 Mpa when rolling at room temperature.Comparing with other three steel grades in A283,A283 Grade A has the lowest Carbon contains limited,and A283 Grade D has the highest carbon contains for improving its yield strength and tensile strength values.The most common used steel grade is A283 Grade C.
